The 2026 Annual Appeal has officially begun, and many of you should have received or will be receiving a letter in the mail from Cardinal Tobin inviting you to consider making a financial sacrifice in support of this year’s Appeal. The 2025 Annual Appeal raised over $11 million, which is the most successful Appeal since 2007!

At the same time, our Archdiocese is moving forward with We Are His Witnesses, a pastoral initiative that invites us to walk together on a path of pastoral conversion. The objective of We Are His Witnesses is to make a stronger, universal church in the Archdiocese of Newark and one of the most important way we can reach this objective is to come together to support the Annual Appeal and its essential ministries.

This year our parish goal is $52,679.17, reaching that goal benefits our parish in two important ways. If we reach our goal in cash by June 30, our parish will be eligible for a 2% reduction in next year’s assessment. Second, if we exceed our goal in pledges by June 30, we will receive a rebate that comes back to our parish, unassessed, to be used on one of our many church projects.

I have already made my gift to the Annual Appeal, and I invite you to take a step with me on this stewardship journey. Thank you for your time, generosity and your prayers.

Please make a gift online today by visiting rcan.org/sharing, scanning the QR code, or join us for In-Pew Weekend on March 7 and 8.
